CUP CHARACTERISTICS:
Imagine sitting in your favorite diner with red vinyl seats and syrupy table tops sipping on your third cup of seemingly mediocre coffee that somehow pairs perfectly with your bacon, eggs, and pancakes. This is our refined take on that exact cup. Full-bodied and chocolatey, this blend will transport you to that diner, but with the same care and transparency as all of our coffees.
ORIGIN STORY:
Diner blend is a classic coffee from two impressive growing regions; Colombia’s Nariño and Brazil’s Minas Gerais.
The structured Colombian hails from the Southern region of Nariño in the municipality of Yacuanquer. This blend is made up of 27 producers that sold all of their top lots at high prices and then all banded together to create this blend to sell for large quantity demands. This densely structured coffee gives this blend its signature clean chocolate finish.
The smooth Brazilian component comes to us from the Fazenda Rio Brilhante in the Minas Gerais department. Rio Brilhante is an estate-style farm that grows not only coffee but cotton, bean, and corn to supplement the income for the 102 fixed employees and 240 seasonal employees. This consistent coffee lends the backbone density to the full body and rich sweetness.
